Join Sedgwick docents for an informative hike on the Quail Trail which begins and ends at Sedgwick’s field station and provides beautiful views of the Reserve from Lisque Mesa. You’ll enjoy scenic vistas and walk past some of Sedgwick Reserve’s research sites. Docents will discuss the flora, fauna, geology, and history of the Reserve. This route is 2.5 miles and has about 250 feet of elevation change. It is considered slightly harder than our easiest trails because it includes one moderately steep ascent and descent.

Please ensure you have the physical fitness required to go on this hike. You should be able to walk up 25 flights of stairs.
